Rare, Exquisite and PlexiGlas Semi-Concert grand recently upgraded to silver and chrome interior plate and hardware. Magnificently prepared for the perfect German sound and feel.
This is absolutely a ‘One-In-The-World’ piano. Custom designed as 1 of 2 with brass trim and hardware by a special client working directly with the SoCal Pianos Proprietor. It was ordered & built in 1998 for a birthday gift from the clients husband. Circumstances have caused the piano to find its way back to SoCal Pianos. It was recently painstakingly re-plated with nickel/chrome appointments – perfectly transformed into the only one of it’s kind. The only remaining ‘gold’ is the real gold plating on the Schimmel Crest, Medallions, and trim on the plate. Perfect for the modern, contemporary home.
Schimmel (est. 1885) represents the typical German attention to detail. Schimmel is still producing the Plexiglas grand in their line of high-end grands.
As a footnote – a new one by Schimmel is approaching $200,000.00.
